Angiostop: Angiogenesis and RTK Inhibitor

The active ingredient in Angiostop, Philinopside A, is extracted from a special sea cucumber in the South China seas. These sea cucumbers are known to be rich in polysaccarides and lactones. For centuries, sea cucumbers have been considered as an integral part in Chinese folk medicine, primarily used as a treatment for stomach ulcer and stomach cancer. Now, in vitro and in vivo tests have assessed its two-fold function as an angiogenesis inhibitor and as a RTK inhibitor.

Angiostop Mechanism

1. Inhibits RTKs: vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR), epithelial growth factor receptor (EGFR), platelet derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR), fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR)
2. Inhibits angiogenesis – stops new blood vessel formation
3. Induces apoptosis – tumor cells eventually die by cutting off their nutrient and blood supply.

G. Farka , MD from CA, has a 43 year old male patient with colorectal cancer that spread to the liver and lungs. He used Avastin + 5FU for 5 weeks (3 treatments) and his CEA reduced from 8 to 6.9. Then he added Angiostop and the entire Chi Program. After 4 weeks, his CEA level further dropped to 3.6.

S.J., a 67 year old male from CA was diagnosed with early stage 4 lung cancer and underwent 5 courses of chemo. Nine months later, the cancer had metastasied to his spine, which caused him difficulty in walking. Then he started taking Tarceva and Angiostop. J. Florendo , DC from NV, has a 69 year old male patient with an adenocarcinoma in his scrotum the size of a grapefruit, protruding through the groin area and leaking fluids. The tumor has Paget's cells, which typically grow and spread quickly. After using Angiostop, Revivin, Reishi Spore, Asparagus Extract, and MIT device for about 4 months, the tumor has shrunk in size and doctors found that the cancer has not spread to any other area. Another 2 months later, the tumor was completely gone.

R. Johnson , DC from NC, has a 68 year old female patient with a cancer mass (6cm in diameter) behind the breast in Feb 2007. A medical condition does not allow her to have chemotherapy, so she only had radiation with Angiostop, Myomin and Revivin. The breast mass reduced to 2.3 cm and was completely gone after 4 months on the program.
